— How we work
A process you can actually watch happen.
No black boxes and no month-three reveals. From the first conversation to long after launch, you see real, working product every two weeks — and you always know exactly where things stand.
— The steps
From first call to long-term partner.
Discovery
We sit with you for two days. We listen, audit, and challenge. By the end, both sides know if we are a fit.
Strategy
A 1-week sprint to align on scope, success metrics, and the smallest valuable thing to ship first.
Design
Wireframes give way to high-fidelity prototypes. Motion is designed alongside layout, not after.
Engineering
We build in fortnightly increments. You see real product every two weeks, deployed to a staging URL.
Stewardship
Launch is a milestone, not a finish line. We stay on retainer to evolve the product as you learn.
— How we hold ourselves
The principles under the process.
01
Senior-only delivery
A staff-level practitioner owns your project from kickoff to launch. No juniors hidden behind senior bills.
02
Honest about scope
We push back on requirements that hurt the product. You will hear "no" as often as "yes".
03
Documented as we go
Runbooks, decision records, and tests are part of the deliverable — not a phase that gets cut.
04
Built to be handed over
We write for the next engineer. You are never locked in to keep us around.
— Common questions
How working with us actually goes.
How long is the discovery phase?
One to two weeks. We sit with you, audit the existing systems, and pressure-test the brief. You leave with a written architecture and a fixed-scope statement of work — even if you decide not to hire us.
How often will we see progress?
Every two weeks. We work in fortnightly increments with real, deployable product on a staging URL at the end of each sprint — no month-three reveals.
How do you price engagements?
Most are fixed-scope and milestone-billed. We also offer embedded-squad and discovery-sprint models. We share honest ranges up front and bill against agreed milestones, not open-ended hours.
What happens after launch?
Launch is a milestone, not a finish line. Most clients keep us on a monthly retainer to evolve the product — new features, performance, and the steady work of keeping it healthy.
Who actually does the work?
Senior practitioners — the same people who pitched you. Every project is led by an engineer or designer with 10+ years of production experience. No juniors hidden behind senior bills.
